A Preschool Fostering Diversity in the Classroom
Fairlawn Village Preschool is committed to providing education to families from all walks of life. We believed in the importance of educating your children to become the most confident and independent children when they go to kindergarten. Our staff of 12 dedicated teachers has a combined teaching experience of 150 years and is ready to serve your family's needs. Our staff wants to give your child a solid academic foundation.
Our Philosophy and Goal
At Fairlawn Village Preschool, we employ Piaget's theory of comprehensive development to create our programs. This theory defines learning and cognitive development as a combination of biology and experience—as children grow and learn about the world around them, all that they see and do contributes to their education.
All of our classes incorporate language arts, math, science, music, art and outside play. We want to give your child a solid academic foundation, which is why we also offer supplemental learning opportunities such as our Tot Time programs and our afternoon enrichment class for the all day children.

We also participate in several community outreach programs. For example, the Pajama Program of Eastern Ohio that provides pajamas and books to children who needed to evacuate from their homes. In addition, we support the 98.1 KDD “Have a Heart, Do Your Part” Radiothon Change Bandit Program, in which volunteers collect spare change that is donated to the Akron Children’s Hospital. We also support Kylie's Bags of Love for children at Akron Children's Hospital.
